Endoscopy

Aloha Animal Hospital has an 8mm and a 2mm flexible endoscope which allows visualization into the areas of the body without need for surgical incision.  This is especially usefull for retrieving foreign bodies in the esophagus or stomach.   The endoscope is also extremely helpful in diagnosing inflammatory disease of the duodenum or stomach as well as giving your veterinarian a visual interpretation of the inner layers of the gastrointestinal tract.  The 8mm flexible endoscope is used for looking down the esophagus, the stomach, and duodenum (small intestine), and also the trachea.   The 2mm endoscope has allowed your veterinarian to diagnose problems unaccessible in the past.
